Dylan Wiederspohn

I am a conservation focused entrepreneur, renewable energy advocate, and father of two. I am the founder behind several sustainability driven initiatives across Western Canada, all rooted in practical solutions that protect land, strengthen communities, and create long term environmental resilience.

My career began in public service after graduating from the Resource and Environmental Law program. I spent several years working as a Conservation Officer with the Saskatchewan Ministry of Environment, where I saw firsthand the responsibility we carry to protect wildlife, ecosystems, and the systems that keep communities healthy and self sufficient.

In 2021, during the uncertainty of COVID, I shifted my focus toward renewable energy and long term environmental resilience. That shift led me to Pioneer Solar and Renewables, where I now serve as Sales Director. My role extends well beyond traditional sales. I help design fully integrated renewable energy solutions, work closely with First Nation communities, develop education programs, build industry partnerships, and advocate for policies that support energy independence. I also present across Canada on renewable energy, sustainability principles, available incentives, and practical steps people can take to reduce their environmental footprint.

Alongside my work in renewable energy, I founded Conserv Solar Services, a company dedicated to keeping solar systems operating at peak performance through professional cleaning, maintenance, monitoring, and troubleshooting. The mission is simple. Protect the investment people make in clean energy while supporting a culture of long term sustainability. A portion of every service is directed toward conservation education and environmental awareness.

My passion for nature has also led to creative initiatives such as the Adopt a Bee program and community education projects inspired by my experience as a Conservation Officer. Whether I am teaching families about pollinators, helping farmers reduce fertilizer use, or building renewable energy systems for homes and businesses, my focus remains the same. Empower people to be more self reliant while supporting a healthier planet.

Outside of work, I am a dedicated father. You will often find my family and me among the trees, in the ocean, on frozen lakes, reading, writing, thinking, and fighting for the world I want to leave behind for my children. The projects I build and the companies I grow all exist for one purpose. Creating a meaningful legacy.
